This picture is a bad example because of the messy and cluttered background and boring angle of the photograph.

The images taped to the window create a real life frame surrounding the subjects of the photo.

The image is split into two parts by a middle subject (Manhattan sign) which helps create balance in the photo. Both sides are equal in the frame which helps with the illusion.

The lines in this image help to lead the eye to the subject of the photo. It just helps to draw attention to the photo.

This picture uses simplicity by not having any other objects in the photo and using a plain background.

This photograph shows the rule of thirds by having the two main buildings put to one side of the frame.
