This picture demonstrates symmetry because there are even lines on either side of the subject in the middle. Both sides look very similar and are divided by the lighting on the building.

This photo shows viewpoint by having the camera angled up towards the subject. I think the photographer did this to capture the moment and create a more realistic image, showing what it looks like from a person's point of view.

This image shows depth by including different subjects in the foreground, middle ground, and background. The photographer did this to try and show the entire situation and scenery.

This picture uses cropping to focus on a very specific area in the scenery. The point of this photo was to show what was still standing of the World Trade Center.

You will just need a tripod for this shoot. 3. What is the reason someone might take an HDR image? HDR is good for landscapes and capturing the contrasts in the photo. 4. What can we expect to happen with the images once we merge them together, what will we see that we might not have seen with just one photo? You will most likely see some color and contrast changes.

Merger Preview

1. Is there something you see in the photo above that you think could be a problem when you take your photos? Look carefully. Shadows would definitely be an issue and just different lighting in different layers. 2. Where do you think would be a great place to take this type of picture here on the Bowie campus? By the roses would be an interesting place to do it as there are many different places to pose/do. 3. Can you think of something creative to actually DO in the photo when you take yours? I could be smelling the rose, jumping over myself from the bench in the garden, or getting closer or farther from the camera. 4. Is there something you could wear that would help you when you do this photo? I don't really think clothing would affect anything but it might look cool if you coordinated your outfit with your surroundings.
