I think that many times people don't stop to embrace the beauty that is constantly around us because of our own, busy lives. So I think that people percieve beauty they just don't take the time to stop and appreciate it.

Once upon a time, there was a little girl that never obeyed her mother. She didn't do the dishes, she never cleaned her room, and she always fought with her sisters. After years of this, her mother told her that if she didn't start behaving then she would leave with the baby and her sister, and leave the girl with a wooden donkey. The girl laughed this off because of how silly it sounded to her. She disregarded it and went out to the town to hang out with friends. On the way there she saw a young woman with long dreads playing the bongos. The bongos had a beautiful shiny outside cover and a large booming sound. They put her in a trance. She ran to the woman and asked if she could have them. The woman made a deal with the girl: if she misbehaved for her mother for three full days she would give the girl the drums.
